Jacoby Mason, CEO of Virgil Holding, is an IWU alum with a background in Marketing and Communications. He holds a Tax Certification from Ashworth College and a Six Sigma Black Belt from Purdue University. He also created AccuraSuite™, a five-in-one financial software solution built for modern business needs. Mr. Mason believes that meaningful progress comes from a mix of smart strategy, real-world insight, and a commitment to action. 

The name “Virgil Holding” honors Mr. Mason’s grandfather, Virgil “Buddy” Samuels — a devoted father of ten whose life was defined by hard work, family, and service. Based in Anniston, Alabama, he spent nearly 40 years working for the railroad (a tribute reflected in our official logo) and raised hogs on a small farm to support his family and community. His legacy continues to guide us — shaping our mission, grounding our values, and inspiring us to serve with purpose and build with impact.
