Coby Mason, CEO of Virgil Holding, is an IWU alum with a background in Marketing and Communications. He also holds an Accounting and Tax Certification, along with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Purdue University. As the creator of AccuraSuite™, a five in one financial software solution, he combines technical expertise with a passion for startups, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Raised in a blue collar household, Mr. Mason developed a deep respect for hard work and the industries that keep America moving. He has worked as a chemical transport engineer for nearly a decade, bringing real world operational insight into his business ventures. Guided by a vision to dream, design, and build the future of business, he continues to push boundaries and create solutions that drive meaningful growth.

The name “Virgil” honors Mr. Mason’s grandfather, Virgil “Buddy” Samuels Sr. — a devoted father of ten whose life reflected hard work, family, and service. From Anniston, Alabama, he spent nearly 40 years on the railroad while raising hogs on a small farm, providing for his family and giving back to his community. His legacy continues to guide us—shaping our mission, grounding our values, and inspiring us to build with purpose.
