The company name honors Mr. Mason’s grandfather, Virgil “Buddy” Samuels, a devoted father of ten who built a life rooted in hard work and service in Anniston, Alabama. He spent nearly 40 years with the railroad and ran a small farm, raising hogs to help feed both his family and the local community. His unwavering commitment to family, faith, and service left a lasting mark. His legacy lives on in everything we do.
